I am speaking at 'This is My Brave' on Oct 19th at 2pm at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho as part of the 2019 cast.. I am sharing my story about anxiety and how it has affected my life, relationships, and perspective. I have always been an open book but anxiety has always come with a stigma that I was uncomfortable with. I rarely shared that part of my story due to concern that I would be judged or considered weak.
I know by sharing our stories we can help others from feeling isolated by thier illnesses and help the people around us to understand what life can feel like while dealing with mental illness.
Please help me bring mental illness into the light and push out the stigma. Please come and hear our stories. I truly believe that we can make massive strides in mental health awareness and understanding by sharing our stories.
